Aikido dojo in Tampere
A modern aikido hall in the city centre – classes for juniors, adults, and families.
In short
Aikido Unlimited’s Tampere dojo is at Turjankatu 1 C, right by the city centre. Juniors, adults, and families train in our renovated dojo — and the first trial class is free.
Tampere is Aikido Unlimited’s home city. We have renovated our own training hall on Turjankatu, where you can practise aikido that fits everyday life: Low Impact in the morning, juniors and general classes in the evenings, and family aikido on weekends. The hall is a pleasant, peaceful training space near the city centre.
Training suits beginners and experienced practitioners alike. Classes develop body awareness, mobility, and cooperation — without competition. You can join anytime: the first trial class is free, and no prior experience is needed. Tracksuit trousers and a T-shirt are enough to start.
One membership covers both of our dojos, so you can also train in Hyvinkää when it suits you. If you are unsure which group is right for you or your child, get in touch — we are happy to help you choose the right class.

The dojo is near the city centre, a short walk from the railway station. Public transport also works well with buses 4, 10, and 27. By car, you can use our own parking area and free street parking.

Where is the Tampere dojo?
Our Tampere dojo is at Turjankatu 1 C, 33100 Tampere. The hall is in the city centre, just under a couple of kilometres from the railway station.
Is the first class free?
Yes. The first trial class is always free and does not commit you to anything. You can book online.
Who are the Tampere classes for?
We offer classes for juniors, adults, and families. Morning Low Impact sessions are also available for lighter practice. No prior experience is needed.
How much does membership cost?
Adult membership starts at €60/month and junior membership (under 14) at €40/month. One membership covers training in both Tampere and Hyvinkää. See the pricing page for full details.
How do I get there by public transport?
The dojo is near Tampere city centre and bus connections. Walking from the station is just under a couple of kilometres. By car, there is parking in front of the dojo and on the street.
