Family aikido is designed for children under 8 and their parents. In family aikido, children train together with their parents, creating a safe and supportive learning environment.
In family aikido, preschool-aged children get their first introduction to martial arts. Parents provide a safe training partner and apparatus for various coordination and climbing exercises. Classes include games, basic movements, and simple aikido techniques that develop the child's motor skills.

Family aikido is designed for children under 8 and their parents. The age limit is flexible and can be adjusted.
Family aikido can be paid as a single session (€10), monthly membership (€40/month), or 10-class card (€90). If the parent has a monthly membership, family aikido is included at no extra cost.
Family aikido is held twice a week in Tampere: Thursdays and Sundays at 16:00.
You can come to family aikido in comfortable indoor sports clothes, like a t-shirt and sweatpants. An aikido gi is not required but can be worn. Our gi service is also available.
If the parent has a monthly membership, family aikido is included at no additional cost. This makes family aikido an excellent way to practice together!
